Chicken Soup For The Soul
After last week's post I thought I would post my recipe for chicken and corn soup. My mum used to always make me this soup when I was sick and I absolutely adored it. Now that I can make it myself without blowing up the whole kitchen, I thought I could also share it with you lovely independent people! It serves 4 and takes about 40 minutes to cook.

Surviving the Winter
I don't know about my readers, but I live in Australia. And it currently is Autumn. That means that Winter is coming soon! I personally love winter. Snuggling up in bend with a good book and a hot chocolate. But I know lots of people who would much rather choose hot summer beaches than wet cold nights. So here's some quick tips to successfully survive and enjoy the upcoming winter...
1. Movies to get you in the mood:
The right DVD has the ability to completely change your mind about something. Who didn't want to become a cheerleader after watching Bring It On? or tap dance all around the house after Happy Feet ?
What I mean to say is, if you're not keen on the winter just yet, get a hold of these movies.
'The Holiday'; One woman goes to sunny LA, the other to England. You'll either end up hoping for a snow storm or just get your dose of (on-screen) sun.

Homemade Berry Smoothie
Hi everyone!
If you follow me on twitter (@raandomrachel) you'd know by now that I am sick... Yet again. I get sick very easily, as soon as I'm stressed or my immune system is low. BAM! Sickness again.
I've seen my doctor on numerous occasions but personally, I don't really like my doctor. All she says is that it's stress and I need to have more vitamins. Though I already have a lot of fruit, veggie, and extra vitamin tablets. But a bit more can't hurt can it?
So I was thinking what I could start having to boost my vitamin intake. Even if it's something really small. So what did I think of? Well, you can guess from the title: Smoothies
